There were people asking for Alchemy, and I wanted to do Alchemy as well, but I didn't feel prepared at that time. I wish I had more experience with upgrading things with atoms because I feel like that could be on here but...here it is! A bunch of things I wish I knew in the first few months that I was using the alchemy skill.
Alchemy is a higher power format, but has a lot more viable options compared to Standard (generally). There's some realllly clearly pushed cards that are clearly "the best," but all formats have those.
Pay Arcadia/Babette for five levels of Alchemy training, then make potions until you level up and can buy five more levels of training. Sell your potions to Arcadia/Babette to finance your skill training -- they'll use the money you gave them to buy back your potions!
The art of Alchemy is the understanding of transmuting sacral (sexual) energy. But many in the spiritual community have a misunderstanding of how to actually do this because of a vast number of false teachers who are more interested in spreading lies and misinformation for their own selfish purposes or due to their own ignorance.
Also, the Restore Health potions cap out at like 90 points with maxed-out alchemy lvl100, maxed potion stats, and with some alchemical gear. It's not worth using the alchemical ingredients for just 90 points). I have a screencaps of a few of my best potions & poisons below.

I don't know about complete guides, though that is much needed. Here is a brief overview of the different "stages" of alchemy. W2/W3/W4 FMJ and Shaquracy (#9 in Orange and Green) are incredibly important to building the accuracy and defense you need to push through the various worlds. As someone getting back into Skyrim for the first time since launch, I appreciate the well made posts and comments of everyone, especially this long after launch. I’m enjoying exploring Skyrim through alchemy and food ingredients, as I’ve picked up a fondness for cooking and bar tending since the early years.
