Alchemy is a higher power format, but has a lot more viable options compared to Standard (generally). There's some realllly clearly pushed cards that are clearly "the best," but all formats have those.

Pay Arcadia/Babette for five levels of Alchemy training, then make potions until you level up and can buy five more levels of training. Sell your potions to Arcadia/Babette to finance your skill training -- they'll use the money you gave them to buy back your potions!

Also, the Restore Health potions cap out at like 90 points with maxed-out alchemy lvl100, maxed potion stats, and with some alchemical gear. It's not worth using the alchemical ingredients for just 90 points). I have a screencaps of a few of my best potions & poisons below.

I don't know about complete guides, though that is much needed. Here is a brief overview of the different "stages" of alchemy. W2/W3/W4 FMJ and Shaquracy (#9 in Orange and Green) are incredibly important to building the accuracy and defense you need to push through the various worlds.
